How to Be Perfect?
Is it even possible to be perfect?
My answer is YES and NO. It depends on your point of view and the way you perceive yourself and the world around you.
We are infinite spiritual beings having temporarily human experience in this physical world.
When we came to this world, we got mind and body; the mind for thinking and body for feeling, so we could have experiences in this world.
When we come here, we forget who we are and we identify with our physical body.
In order to make this game of life more interesting and authentic, our minds are designed to look for obstacles and potential danger, making up the worst-case scenarios, which often cause fears that then prevent us from having a wide range of experiences that we actually came here to experience.
Is Your Mind Controlling You?
The primary purpose of the mind is to preserve the body, to protect and keep us safe, so we could survive in this physical world.
The mind is a worrier and everything that is unknown, it perceives as potentially dangerous. It constantly worries if everything is going to be perfect and that’s why you are afraid to get out of your comfort zone (the zone of the known). It worries that somebody might laugh or criticize you if what you’re doing is not perfect enough.
By thinking fearful thoughts, we are projecting ourselves in the future creating imaginary scenarios because we want to control the things that we don’t have control of.
If we let the mind take control over us, we will miss new experiences and growth because the mind (ego) will do anything to stay in the comfort zone, because anything that is new it perceives as potentially dangerous.
So, if you don’t take control over your mind, there is a possibility that you will either give up on your wishes and desires or you will start something new with this fearful energy and then you’ll fail because you acted from the place of fear.
It’s up to us whether we are going to stay in this prison of our mind or we are going to free our mind and start following our soul’s guidance to experience more joy, freedom, and happiness.
Quiet the Ego and Listen to Your Soul
Ego looks for perfection, and your soul knows that you’re already perfect.
Perfection is found in being, not in doing.
From your soul’s perspective, you’re already perfect, but from your mind’s perspective, you’ll never be perfect!
So, it’s obvious that you’ll experience perfection only when you quiet your mind and let your soul guide you.
When your soul guides you, that’s your true nature and there’s no need for worrying whether you’re perfect or not, because from the soul’s perspective you’re already perfect.
The language of the soul is love, and the language of the ego is fear.
Love and fear both exist as polarities, but you can’t experience them at the same time, because they don’t come from the same source.
When we raise our vibration, we give the opportunity to the soul to express itself.
Stronger the soul, quieter the ego.
Without Experience, There is No Growth
Our soul is looking for fun, experience, and growth, and ego is looking for obstacles because it only wants to survive.
The soul is not fearful, because it knows that it is infinite. It exists and will always exist regardless of the body and mind.
Ego is fearful because it fights for survival in this world and will do anything to stay in its comfort zone because anything that is unknown it perceives as dangerous.
Ego is a great servant but a bad master.
If we let the ego control us, we will miss the experiences that we came here for and will bring our lives down to survival.
The Perfection is Found in Being and Not in Doing!
From the soul’s perspective, you’re perfect just as you are. You came to this world perfect and you don’t have to do anything to prove your worth.
On the contrary, your ego constantly wants you to do something to prove your worth, but as soon as you try to do something new, your ego will start to convince you that you should give up because you can’t make it perfect.
Remember that you’re not your thoughts. You are a thinker of your thoughts.
You have a mind to serve you and not to control you.
Get beyond your mind and become aware that you’re already perfect and when you act from that state of being, everything that you do can’t be anything less than perfect.
